Since the beginning of 2025, several adjustments have been made to social security schemes in Morocco. Among these changes, one of the most important concerns CNSS contributions :
- Higher contributions for self-employed workers The self-employed are now required to pay a compulsory monthly contribution, even if they have no employees. This includes health and retirement benefits.
- Extended pension rights for employees Companies must ensure that their employees are properly registered with the CNSS and benefit from all pension and health insurance rights.
These new obligations require companies to review their accounting and administrative practices. We recommend that you check that your CNSS declarations are up to date, to avoid penalties.
